Phineas was the dog of a lifetime.  He finished his phenomenal show career at almost 14 years of age by winning Best Veteran and Best Veteran in Sweeps at the FCRSC Specialty in 2001.  In attaining other titles in performance venues, he was only held back by my lack of knowledge.  And despite that, he got a JH and WC at the age of 10 and his Canadian CDX at 11.  He was clever and wily and it was always difficult to know who was leading and who was following.  Even 20 years later, I would have to say that Phineas was the smartest dog I ever met!  And he was truly a loyal and trusted friend.
